Nature’s Corner
Hello folks,
The good news is that the blackbirds are back and in good numbers!
In the morning when we open the blinds onto the back garden there are eight of nine blackbirds sat around waiting for us to put out handfuls of dried fruit. It’s funny to watch their antics trying to feed, all bumping and fluttering as they have a pecking order as to who eats first.
We now have a tiny field mouse who lives under of the hedgehog houses and it’s nice to see it nip out to get some dropped bird seed or dried fruit then pop back under the hedgehog house.
Talking of which we have not seen any hedgehogs for many weeks although some food and water is left in the feeding station just in case.
And the foxes are still nightly visitors to the garden.
More soon… Pee Jay
