Hello Folks,

In the last week or two we have had more baby birds in the garden than I’ve had hot dinners and it’s been really fantastic.

There have been dozens of baby Starlings and Blackbirds, some Blue and Great Tits, plenty of baby Sparrows and now Goldfinches are starting to bring in their young ones, so hopefully it will be a good year for birds.

I am now seeing more Buzzards circling over the local area and also getting more reports of sightings of Red Kites being seen locally (very good news).

It’s a shame about the Butterflies but I’ve seen so few this year which I suppose is due to the poor conditions.

I am still getting regular visits from the three Hedgehogs, they are of course eating us out of house and home and no improvement in their manners. Also, the two foxes are nightly visitors and look in fine condition.
