Dear Reader
Thank you to all those people who have already donated items for our Christmas Bazaar. Bottles, Jars and Tins are still needed for our Tombola stall.
On Saturday 5th December, which will be our usual ‘Bacon Roll’ Saturday, we are planning a ‘Hailey Centre Winter Wonderland’, which will incorporate our ‘Christmas Bazaar’ this year. Donations for the Raffle, Tombola and Bric-a-brac stalls would be gratefully received. We will also be selling Christmas Trees, Poinsettias and a wide range of Christmas goodies. Also there will be the opportunity for young family members to visit Father Christmas in his grotto.
Thank you for your support at the MacMillian Cancer Coffee Morning.
The TESCO Shopping Bus will be on Wednesday 7th October, leaving the Hailey Centre at 11.00am and will also be stopping at The Range. Please remember you will be dropped off at your home address with your shopping. Please book your place in the office.
From October, please be aware that on Tuesday’s coffee will finish at 11.30am as Pilates will now be starting at 11.45am. Please note, due to the length of our October film, South Pacific, the film will be starting at 1.30pm.
Just a reminder that we have singer Paul David on 17th November, please note the change of date, as our Turkey & Tinsel holiday clashed with the original date. Also on 1st December is ‘Name that Tune’ and there are limited spaces so please book in the office.
We are planning our usual annual trips to see the ‘London Lights’ followed by a fish & chip supper, also the Christmas Market in Bury St. Edmunds. Please see individual adverts.
Our Annual New Year’s Lunch will be on 8th January 2016 at the Hunters Meet and the cost will be £30 to include a four course lunch, glass of wine, tea or coffee and afternoon entertainment from Diane Moore. Please book in the office. A £15 deposit will be required at the time of booking and the balance of £15 payable by 23rd December.
Look forward to seeing you all soon and thank you for your support as always.
Sue, Centre Manager
