Well, I suppose that’s the last of the hot weather so it’s time to look for the scarves, gloves and water proofs. But then again each of the seasons has its own appeal.
The birds are now starting to appear on the feeders as food starts to disappear from the countryside and the man who supplies my bird food is rubbing his hands and waiting for my phone call to re-order more food for the birds, hedgehogs and foxes.
It’s now only a short time until my next bird watching holiday to the East Coast near Grimsby, for a five night stay, with some new areas to explore and possibly some new birds. I will put an article in the next newsletter to keep you up to date.
The hedgehogs are now back in business along with (we think) the three foxes, one adult and two of this years’ young.
