SAWBRIDGEWORTH CAMERA CLUB
We are now in a quiet time for the Club during the Summer months which gives us a chance to re-charge our batteries (including the ones for our cameras!). We had one meeting on 20 May to photograph a modern day take on The Last Supper. This was a project for the members to tell a story in a photograph. Hopefully, by the time you read this we will have the result on show in the Hall. We intend to have one meeting a month in June, July and August just to keep us alert.
We hope you are enjoying the Members efforts to photograph the Big Cats which have been on display at the Centre since the beginning of May. Clearly, a tiger was a very popular choice among our photographers but not to the exclusion of others. Among the photographs are pictures of lions, white lions, cheetahs, leopards, lynx, amur tiger, white tiger and a serval cat. We are proud to say that overall, the Club contributed nearly £1,000 to conservation as a result of our visit.
Our Photography Exhibition this year will be held on Saturday 30 September and our Autumn Session will begin on 28 September.
New Club Members are always welcome at all levels so if you, or someone you know, is interested in joining us please contact Sue in the office on 01279 721221.
